Main subject: Young Korean woman, early 20s, natural appearance, loose white T-shirt, light-wash jeans, black sneakers, simple necklace, black wavy hair tied into a messy side ponytail. Realistic skin texture and minimal makeup. Keep her identity consistent. Location: Peaceful Korean residential neighborhood during a warm summer afternoon. Small homes, concrete alleys, potted plants, bicycles, laundry lines, old walls, trees and overhead wires. Camera: Early-2000s handheld DV camcorder operated by a friend. Strong camera shake, drifting composition, autofocus hunting, exposure shifts, soft digital image, faded colors, lens breathing, occasional motion blur and imperfect zooms. She sits on a low wall outside her house eating a popsicle. She looks at the camera and smiles while sunlight hits her face. She gets up and walks down the alley, waving at a neighbor watering plants. The camera follows awkwardly from behind. She notices a small dog behind a gate and crouches down to say hello. The dog gets excited and she laughs. She continues walking and stops beneath a large tree, looking upward as leaves move in the wind. She walks toward a small basketball court, picks up a ball and casually throws it toward the hoop. She misses and laughs at herself. She walks back toward the camera, playfully covers the lens with her hand and says, “Bye!” The screen goes dark as her hand covers the lens. Audio: Birds, insects, wind, distant children, bouncing ball, footsteps and natural neighborhood sounds. No music or narration.
